Remember The Hokies- 3 years ago today..

If you get a minute, take time to remember The Hokies today. 3 years a go a deranged young student went on a rampage and took the lives of 32 students and professors.
Having a daughter there as a Sophomore at the time - I was terrified. Luckily I heard from her before my phone and mail lit up with folks asking about her.
It is a very tough day for those who were on campus that day- and a very solem one honoring those who were victims and their families.
My "Little Girl" is now still living in Blacksburg, and working at Advance Auto Parts corporate office. I am a lucky parent that she was safe and I get my hugs yet.
She will start the day on campus at the Memorial site then go on a 5K remeberence run- then to work.
